About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Lead ServiceNow Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience, ideally within the healthcare technology domain. In this role, you’ll lead the design and implementation of secure and scalable ServiceNow solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You’ll take full ownership of the product lifecycle-from ideation to deployment-and ensure delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that align with business and healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ServiceNow product development: planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications in alignment with platform best practices and evolving requirements.
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and custom integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and OpenEHR across all implementations.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and address functional and technical gaps with innovative solutions.
- Partner with QA and release teams to ensure smooth, high-quality deployments.
- Provide leadership in troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, and feature enhancements of existing modules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and support knowledge transfer through training, SOPs, and internal resources.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Expertise with core ServiceNow modules: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies-particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and external system communication.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with effective communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS (any specialization).
- Experience with additional modules such as ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior developers.
