Finance & Operations Analyst

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Operations Analyst to streamline and support our core finance functions while also managing key operational workflows. You’ll play a crucial role in organizing company-wide expenses, structuring payroll, managing billing, coordinating cross-functional operations, and ensuring both compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Records: Record daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Expense Management: Maintain a consolidated view of company-wide expenses across India and US operations.
  • Payroll Structuring: Standardize CTC components and payslip formats, ensuring tax efficiency for both employees and the company.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Oversee client billing processes, track invoices, and manage timely collections.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support in creating and managing budgets, forecasting financial trends, and providing insights for strategic planning.
  • Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external consultants to ensure compliance with India and US tax regulations.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Vendor & Procurement Coordination: Support vendor onboarding, maintain payment schedules, and manage vendor-related documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline internal processes across teams.
  • Data Management: Maintain operational dashboards, documentation, and reporting systems for finance and HR.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with HR, Admin, and other departments to ensure alignment between financial operations and business goals.
  • Tool & Platform Management: Help manage tools like Rippling, QuickBooks, or Zoho, ensuring data accuracy and operational continuity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in finance, operations, or a combined analyst role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of India tax laws, CTC structuring, and payroll systems.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn about US tax and accounting frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Rippling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and thrive in a collaborative environment
